World-famous SugarKitty Corsets are different from off-the-rack corsets for many reasons. They are superior quality, handmade works of art. Each corset is custom made to fit each client. No two are ever alike!
SugarKitty Corsets are not only gorgeous, but are the sturdiest corsets money can buy. They're made to last for years of quality wear. Each corset it built with multiple layers of fabric and interlinings, all of which are topstitched together for the ultimate in "fabric armor".
Every seam is triple-stitched for recinforcement, and steel boning is encased within the layers of the corset. You'll never have to worry about discomfort or unsightly "poke-throughs" that results from poorly constructed corsets. The stainless steel busk is also reinforced to prevent shifting, and is supported by spring steel boning on either side.
Spiral & flat steel boning is found throughout the entire body of the corset. This provides support and flexibility (and we never EVER use plastic boning. EVER!). The corset will mold to your shape after wear, just like your favorite jeans. Spring-steel bones line each side of the grommets for additional strength. Heavy duty boning, extra wide busks, and lacing bones are available for the ultimate in strength and support.
The old cliche that good corsets aren't cheap and cheap corsets aren't good rings true! SugarKitty Corsets are heads-above the rest for a reason. Quality craftmanship, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service...give us a try - you WON'T be disappointed!
SugarKitty Corsets is the creation of 37-year old seamstress, Shannon. SugarKitty is a one-woman operation-run from her Columbus, Ohio home studio. SugarKitty has been a project more than 30 years in the making, ever since she received her first counted-cross stitch kit. After purchasing an inferior quality corset, Shannon decided that she should put her stitching talents to work. She began creating custom corsets in 2002, and by 2004 SugarKitty became a full-time (ad)venture.
Shannon loves dogs, gardening, tattoos, the color pink, coffee, and chinese dumplings. She lives in Columbus with her spoiled little dogs Pedro & Murphy, her main squeeze, Jay, and an urban jungle of potted plants.
